A community for people between places.
bayn is a community for people who live across different countries and want an easier way to help one another. The idea is simple. Many of us already know people in different cities, but finding the right person when we need something can still be difficult. We ask friends, post in group chats and hope the message reaches someone useful. bayn is a way to make those connections easier.
The community is anti-colonial, anti-Zionist and anti-oppressive. These commitments shape who we build the community with, how members are expected to treat one another, and how we deal with problems when they happen.
Membership begins through referrals and agreement to a shared set of community rules.
To make it easier for people living across different countries to find housing, share useful information and help one another through trusted connections.
A community you can rely on when you move between places. Somewhere to find a room, ask a question, meet people, find work or ask for help, without starting from zero every time you arrive somewhere new.
The politics and promises we share.
What we stand for, and what we ask of everyone in the community.
